This page represents the full breadth of my writing, my interests and where language takes me. The first link connects to my academic work, my "work" persona, where you can find my academic credentials and a sample of academic writing drawn from my dissertation.

The second link takes you to my fiction work. Fiction was the focus of my master's degree, and on this page you can sample a pair of my short stories, "The Spoon," which is a very short piece, and "Cynomis," which is a slightly longer work centering on the conflict of Man vs Nature. Come to think of it, both pieces are really domestic dramas that feature the home and family, although "Cynomis" has a distinctly western flair:

Finally, the third link takes you to some of my current poetry. This page has the least amount of text now, but will likely fill up the fastest as I write and publish more. I loved writing poetry as an adolescent, but stopped for years because I felt I was not good enough. Eventually I decided that poetry was too important to worry about whether or not one was good!
